SFPUC Combustion Turbine Project - Open House

Come and learn more details about the City and County of San Francisco’s Combustion Turbine (CT) or Peaker-Plant Project and discuss various aspects of the project “up close and personal” with members of the project team.

There will be several information stations covering a range of issues that will be of interest to you! We will provide illustrations and materials you can touch, see and discuss with the experts. In order to provide feedback to the project team, your comments and questions will be recorded by staff. We will provide responses to the questions and comments of the meeting attendees.

Information stations will include: Why the Peaker-Plant Project is needed; what the CAISO Action Plan for closing older, polluting generation in the Southeast is; details on project basics; the licensing and permitting process; air quality, and mitigation and community benefits. For those who are interested, a brief presentation will be provided at about 6:00 pm and again at 7:00 pm.
