I am a resident on the hill, I live right across the street from Starr King elementary school and I am having a BIG problem with the board secretary Suzanne Shields. She is constantly picking and complaining about every little thing she can find to us. This last Saturday she took it upon herself to chop down our cactus that we have had for several years next to our gate. We are all women living here and it made us feel safer because it made it so that no one could climb over our gate. This is not exactly the safest place to live as anyone who lives right here knows. She also took it upon herself to chop down a tree on the other side of our gate, we now feel like an open target without the cactus and the tree. I would like to know what her purpose for this was???? Who the hell is she to just take it upon herself to come over here and start chopping down whatever she feels like chopping down. We keep the area in front of our gate manicured and watered and clean so what her problem is I do not know, but I think that its time and I say this because of the condition of the park, (fire hazard), and just the overall unkempted look of it, that if its her job to maintain the park property maybe its time to elect someone else because she is not the one for the job. Sorry Suzanne but you are nothing but a Gladys Kravits, control freak and you need to stop.

The police blotter launched quietly last week without much fanfare. Also, on the right hand column is a feed from the police blotter of the 3 most recent entries.

I need to check this park out… by the way, I just noticed the Police Blotter at http://www.potrerohillsf.com/crime/ - very cool. I must be blind, I hadn’t seen it previously.
