Events on the Hill

samuel pepys
Thick Description, Potrero Hill's live performance space, presents 'Samuel Epys - A life worth living' through Sun Sept 18. The play brings to life the elizabethan diaries of Samuel Pepys who was born to an impoverished family in 1633, and rose above his class to become a member of Parliament. He captured such remarkable moments in history such as the Great London Fire and the Black Death.

On Friday, Farley hosts live jazz with the Stephon Alexander Quartet featuring Chris Amberger of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers playing the music of Miles and Trane.

On Saturday, you can create your own panel for the Potrero Hill Community Arts Project from 10a - 1p at Sports Basement on 16th / De Haro.

This week's events:
Thu Sept 8 to Sun Sept 18 - Samuel Epys - A life worth living
Fri Sept 9 - Farley's: Live jazz
Sat Sept 10 - Panel making for Arts Project
