Auto Smash and Grabs

Over the last couple of months I've heard and read lots of stories about cars getting broken into in our neighborhood. Here are a few recent ones from the Potrero Hill Yahoo! Group:

"There was a car theft in the 1300 block of Rhode Island a little over a week ago. This was a 1989 Camry. The police found it, but it had been pretty much trashed."

"Two cars were broken into (rear window broken) at 20th & San Bruno, in front of the community garden, for what appeared to be attempted stereo and other theft on Oct 9th Sunday night/ Oct 10th Monday morning."
