Axis Cafe’s 12 Days of Christmas

Axis Cafe will be hosting 12 community events to get you in the holiday spirit, starting this Wednesday, Dec. 14.
Events include:
• An ‘Angel Community Christmas Party’ where you can embrace the holiday spirit by purchasing a gift for less fortunate families in the community
• An ‘Old Fashioned Christmas Fair’ with a visit from Santa
• A ‘Christmas Movie Marathon’ with holiday drinks, free popcorn and the claymation classics ‘ Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ and ‘Frosty the Snowman’
From Dec 14 - 25th they’re also offering a Holiday Happy Hour from 5 - 7 pm where you can pick up a coffee or soda for 25 cents.

Wonderful. The neighbors of ISA already have enough problems with the students, but we understand that a few bad apples can ruin the bunch. I’m sure there are plenty of students who are heads-down focusing on their studies indoors, but what we see is kids hanging out at the liquor store during class hours, SFPD resource officers not addressing this problem, school officials and teachers verbally and physically intimidated by the students, etc., etc.
I do not welcome the idea of replacing ISA with a school where EVERYONE attending has shown they can’t cut it in a normal high school environment. A family neighborhood is just not the right location for such a school.
