We tried to save it by transforming it into a design studio off site, but city regulations made it impossible. Very sad. and... about the trees.. There are very few live trees coming down, primarily in the parking lot. The street trees are precious and being protected on both Illinois and Minnesota. Many new ones will go in next year.. You can just see the leftmost wall of it in this photo. I have to say walking, biking (or even driving) over the 20th st bridge is one of my favorite passages in Potrero.
