A neighborhood guide for Potrero Hill, San Francisco

Muni has finally thrown down the gauntlet and declared the official opening date for the Third Street light-rail project as April 7, 2007.

“That’s going to be the date — without fail,'’ said Nathaniel Ford, executive director of the city’s Municipal Transportation Agency, which runs Muni.

The line will open up to the public during Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday weekend (Jan 13 -15) and will operate on weekends until April 7.

I hear there aren’t enough cars, and the windows dont open on them. Taking public trasit in P-hill we know that windows are a must thanks to all the “unique” smells we get from our coriders.
