I live near this site. Most of us on this street agree that Park and Rec. have turned our green park into a parking lot. This isn't a "renovation, it's a ruination." Children will break bones and get scraped up worse than if they still had the lawn and deep sand to fall into. There isn't any shade for family picnics. The "Water thingy" will get filled with MORE mosquito larve and will have to be permanently drained. What is the "Special" concrete paving for? Take it out and PLEASE plant a Redwood tree? All the shade is gone since they ripped out the 5 old pepper trees. This is a disaster! What is the resoning for the Hall of Science getting plantings on the roof for more breathable green matter and a perfectly great neighborhood park is completely paved over?

Hi James,

This question is totally unrelated to your blog but I was hoping you could still help me out. I am building out a pretty exciting new website but have run into a wall in the design area. I need some help on the front end and was wondering if you could recommend a really good UI designer?

Regards,
