Possession of a Firearm, Parole Violation

Plainclothes Officers Kirchner and Ellis were on patrol in the area when they saw males standing in front of a residence on Rhode Island Street. As they approached, the males realized that the Officers were the police and two out of three began to run. Believing that something was criminally afoot the Officers gave chase. Officer Kirchner saw the male he was chasing place something into the bushes. Officer Kirchner detained the male, Officer Ellis detained the male he was chasing. The other remaining male did not run. Officer Kirchner went back to the bush that the male stopped and recovered a loaded gun. The male who was on parole from Oakland for robbery was arrested for numerous gun charges. The other male also from Oakland was cited for resisting arrest. The remaining male, from San Francisco who stayed behind was identified and released. It should be clear that these men were conspiring to commit a robbery or another violent act in this neighborhood and the diligence of these Officers prevented this form happening. Attempted Robbery, Stolen Automobile, Found Gun

Numerous Bayview Officers responded to the area of Watchman Way on report of a robbery. It was learned that a man had parked his car and was walking to a friends’ apartment went he was approached by a male who said, I got your a$# now,” and brandished a handgun at the man. Two other men approached the victim from behind. Fearing that he was going to get shot he dropped the keys to his rental car and ran the other way. The victim made it to an apartment and closed the door. His attackers banged on the door and yelled, “We got your car, now we want your money.” The victim described waiting for approximately ten minutes before calling the police. Numerous people were detained but the victim stated that they were not involved in robbing him. While Officers Ferraez and Fowlie were canvassing the area for evidence they found a shotgun, live ammunition, part of a pistol, and a spent cartridge casings. The evidence was seized and being analyzed by Crime Scene Investigations. It has yet to be determined if there is a connection in the above incident. Various Narcotics Violations

Bayview Officers Rodatos, Sanders, and Dockery who are assigned to the Potrero Hill Housing Projects were conducting a walkthrough of the areas’ abandoned units. While conducting a walkthrough of a unit on the 100 Block of Dakota Street, they found a Los Angeles man inside. Computer records indicated that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Los Angeles for burglary. In a search incident to his arrest the man possessed crack cocaine, methamphetamine, and a stolen bank card that was stolen in a University of San Francisco case. Robbery with a Gun

A man was working on his vehicle when he was approached by two males that both brandished hand guns and demanded his money. The man gave them one hundred and twenty dollars. The suspects were described as black males. The first on was approximately 23 years old 6’00” thin build. Last seen wearing a white shirt, blue baggy jeans. The second suspect had the same height and weight and had a black sweatshirt and black baggy jeans.
