Drunk Domesic Violence

Bayview Officer Arndt responded on a report of a domestic violence.  Upon arrival, she met a woman who said that her boyfriend assaulted her.  The boyfriend had left prior to Officer Arndt’s arrival, but Dispatch broadcast the boyfriend’s description over the radio.  Officer Rodatos located the boyfriend at 16th St./Connecticut. The woman said that her boyfriend came home drunk and started arguing with her.  The boyfriend then grabbed her neck and pushed her on the floor.  The woman got away and ran to the kitchen to call the police.  As she was calling the police, the boyfriend, grabbed a hot crockpot lid from the stove and pressed it against her arm causing burns. The boyfriend was arrested.  The woman refused medical aid.  Officer Arndt obtained an Emergency Protective Order for the woman. 100 Connecticut, Domestic Violence, 5:58 pm
